Water Conservation Tips
SLP is basically on one big pumice mine/area. The water sinks into the ground along the same lines as a french drain since it is so porous. We play hell trying to find leaks. The only way we find them is when they finally surface.
Our mitigation strategy is to isolate the system to try to determine which "chunk" of the system is leaking and to build tank levels up. Things are turned back on for a while so everyone has a chance to use the available water before it all leaks out again. We then turn things back off. This repeats until the issue is resolved be it a leak or whatever.
If you ever see any water coming out of the ground (or anywhere), don't assume it's natural and please let us know.
